Mildenhall Town have parted company with manager Dean Greygoose.
The former Football League goalkeeper, who made more than 200 appearances for Crewe Alexandra, left the club in the wake of Saturday’s 6-0 home defeat against Brentwood, in Bostik North.
Mildenhall are currently 17th in the division.
Greygoose has been very successful at Recreation way, joining the club in November 2014 and guiding the Hall to back-to-back Thurlow Nunn League Challenge Cup wins, as well as promotion to Step 4, as they won the Thurlow Nunn Premier division title in 2017.
Last year was a tough one for Hall, as they finished third bottom of Bostik North, despite a fantastic FA Trophy run. This season they have won just three league games.
A club statement read: “We are grateful to Dean for everything he has done for the club. He has brought the club forward to where we are today, our highest ever position. We wish him all the best for the future.”
Chairman Martin Tuck has also left the club.
Mildenhall have no game this weekend, but travel to AFC Sudbury on Boxing Day.
