MILDENHALL Town have announced the appointment of Mick Money as assistant first team manager.

He will join manager Simon Charlton who commented: “I am very pleased that Mick has agreed to join Mildenhall Town as my assistant manager, with his enthusiasm and knowledge at Ridgeons League level will be extremely useful.

“His appointment shows that we are striving to go forward over the summer and he joins me ahead of pre season training which commences on Tuesday, July 7.

“We are both working towards bringing some new and committed players to the club, as well as improving the players that we already have.

“We already have a number of good players coming for pre-season training, which I am very excited about, however I am still looking to bring more players in to challenge for places and create some healthy competition.”

Also joining Simon and Mick in the dugout this season will be the new club physiotherapist and fitness coach Ben Harwood (Bsc, Msc, MCSP), who has previously worked with Simon at Norwich City.

Mildenhall Chairman Martin Tuck added: “We now have an excellent off the field team at our club, along with a superb committee and a dedicated match day support team.

“With our football academy, run in conjunction with the Mildenhall College of Technology, starting this coming season along with our new ground development planned for 2011, everything is now in place for the future improvement and progression of Mildenhall Town Football Club.
