TIPTREE United and Maldon Town are set to ground share for much of next season.

Following on from the recent announcement that the Jam-Makers will be moving across to compete in the Essex Senior League next season and the appointment of Simon Cox and Coach, the Club has put in place other arrangements that it believes necessary to ensure that it is best placed to move up the Non-League pyramid in future.

To have the required Ground Grading in place should they win promotion next season, it would be necessary to have either our new stadium project completed by the 31st December this year, or spend large amounts of money to bring Chapel Road ground up to the required standard by 31st March 2010.

With both these options looking unrealistic and cost effective, it was felt essential for a solution to be found so that, any further promotion, would not be hampered by the Club not having the required Grade Level 'E' facilities in place by the 31st Match 2010.

In view of this, the club have been in discuss with close neighbours, Maldon Town FC, and have, as a consequence now enter into an agreement that will allow both clubs to use the Wallace Binder Ground, next season for some or all of our fixtures.

This arrangement has been discussed with the FA as well as both the Ryman and Essex Senior League, all of whom have sanctioned the move.
