Danny Cowley remains manager of Braintree Town and will be attending training with Iron this evening, chairman Lee Harding has confirmed.

Cowley held talks with National League rivals Lincoln City over the vacant manager’s job at Sincil Bank last night, and faces a big decision over his future.

“Danny is coming down to the training ground tonight to have a chat with the players, it’s a usual Thursday night, with various paperwork and offers of re-engagement (to players),” said Harding.

“He remains our manager whether or not that lasts a matter of hours of years.”

Harding, who confirmed that other clubs were interested in Cowley, added: “He (Cowley) had a chat with the guys at Lincoln yesterday and his solicitor is looking at that.”
