NEEDHAM Market thumped Wisbech 4-0 on Saturday to pocket £1,500 and reach the first qualifying round of the FA Cup.

Danny Laws' side will now travel to AFC Sudbury in an all-Suffolk encounter after the Zamaretto League Division One Midlands side also won at the weekend.

Striker Danny Phillips netted a hat-trick for Needham as they comfortably beat fellow Ridgeons League Premier Division side Wisbech Town 4-0, Danny Thrower grabbing the other.

Nicky Smith's AFC Sudbury, who play a step higher than Needham, came from behind to win 2-1 at Woodford United.

The two teams will meet at AFC Sudbury's Kings's Marsh Stadium on Saturday, September 12 when they will be playing for prize money worth £3,000 to the winners.
