PETERBOROUGH make a quick return to Poole for the ELB fixture having lost the A fixture there just four weeks ago.

However the Pirates have since made another change in the meantime with Daniel Davidsson being replaced by young Dane Leon Madsen.

Since beating Panthers in July the Pirates fortunes haven't improved and they lost the next 5 matches including home fixtures to Coventry and Swindon before ending that streak by beating Ipswich at Wimborne Road last week.

The Panthers meanwhile have their own problems and will be without both Kenneth Hansen and Claus Vissing due to Danish league matches on the same night, but facilities for both of them are allowed due to the Danish agreement.

Mads Korneliussen is again now fit and he will line up accordingly and the Panthers have booked Belle Vue's James Wright as a guest replacement for Claus Vissing, opting to use the rider replacement facility on this occasion for Kenneth Hansen.

Team manager Trevor Swales said: “James has done well at Poole both times he has ridden there for Belle Vue this year and faced with the choice I have gone with R/R for Hansen because it gives us more flexibility, Niels and Kenneth (Bjerre) both go well at Poole and Mads did well there in the A fixture its clearly going to be hard but we go there looking for a win”

Ales Dryml who moves to the no 7 race jacket for this match said: “I was a bit unlucky last time as my chain came off when I was leading but Poole is generally one of my better tracks and I think we can do well there.

I have some set ups there that work depending what the track is like and I really think the team can get a result there, sometimes results don't go your way and everyone is thinking to much about what is wrong and we just need to concentrate and work together”

Promoter Mick Bratley: “Quite simply this is a meeting we must win if we harbour play off ambitions. It is certainly not going to be an easy fixture and I expect that Poole will be keen to avoid finishing bottom and taking their chances in the relegation race off".

Owner Rick Frost said: “The team know the job they have to do at Poole to keep us in with a chance for a play off place. I'm sure they will all give their best to get the win we need.”
