King to make World Cup debut

IPSWICH Witches skipper Daniel King has been included in the Great Britain side for the World Cup speedway qualifier at Peterborough on Monday July 13.

IPSWICH Witches skipper Daniel King has been included in the Great Britain side for the World Cup speedway qualifier at Peterborough on Monday July 13.

It will be King's World Cup debut and he has been selected by new GP team manager Rob Lyon from King's Lynn ahead of Scott Nicholls and Lee Richardson.

GB face powerhouse duo Australia and Poland along with underdogs Slovenia with Chris Harris, Edward Kennett, Tai Woffinden and Lewis Bridger making up their squad.
