Despite dominating the first half Bolton were unable to add to their lead and in the 71st minute the Blues got back on terms when Bradley Orr played the ball in to Daryl Murphy’s feet just inside the area and the Irishman turned away from Tyrone Mears, who tripped him and a penalty was awarded.

With two minutes remaining, Town won the game from a corner which was cleared to Bradley Orr just outside the box and the on-loan Blackburn man hammered a low shot which Bolton keeper Bogdan couldn’t hold onto and Chorpa reacted sharply to slam the ball into the roof of the net, Ipswich recording back-to-back wins for the first time since March.
