Ipswich Town winger Paul Anderson believes he won’t hit a better goal with his weaker, left foot, than his opener in the crucial 2-0 win at Huddersfield last night.
The former Bristol City men fired Town into the lead and then further impressed as the Blues lept up their late surge towards a place in the play-offs.
Eighth-placed Town are two points off the top-six and host struggling Doncaster on Saturday.
“It’s a massive win for us and it keeps us right in the mix,” Anderson said.
“We started the game really well and we could have put the game to bed earlier than we did, because we created a lot of chances.
“But we’ve ground the game out and we’re all delighted with the win.
“I’m pleased to get on the scoresheet and I don’t think I’ll hit many better than that with my left foot!
“It’s great to score but although it’s a cliché, the main thing is getting the three points as a team and moving onto another big game on Saturday.”
