The Thurlow Nunn’s current top three sides all find themselves in Friday night action this week with leaders Felixstowe & Walton making the trip north to Kirkley & Pakefield.

It’s a quick re-match between these two, having played the reverse fixture at the Goldstar ground at the end of August.

Joe Francis, who has been unavailable for the last two games, should be back in the squad for tonight’s match and will be hoping to add to his tally against the Royals, having scored both goals in the 2-1 win seven weeks ago.

The Royals lowly league position looks a false one, having shared the points with Coggeshall last week, and they will be planning to follow that result with another good outcome from this game.

Second placed Newmarket travel the short distance to neighbours Ely, who Felixstowe beat last week, while Coggeshall, currently third, host a rejuvenated FC Clacton.
