This follows first-team coach Glenn Snell also standing down at the end of the season.

Witchalls, who has spent a month on holiday in Australia, offered his resignation on his return feeling he had taken the club as far as he could. His assistant Rob Charles has also stood down to make way for any new management team.

The club are actively seeking a replacement manager and Acting Chairman Andy Wilding hopes to make an appointment in the near future to give any new man the opportunity to put their ideas into action with pre-season starting next week.
