The 25-year-old Nigerian frontman spent time on loan at the West Yorkshire side last season and scored three goals in eight games.

He joined Alan Devonshire’s side in the summer but has seen his chances restricted due to the form of 20-goal strike partnership, Sean Marks and Ben Wright.

Chilaka has made just one start for the Iron, making a further 12 substitute appearances and has scored two goals.

The improving fitness of Jamie Guy, a long-term injury victim, has also allowed Devonshire to let the striker leave.
