Chelmsford City game is postponed

CHELMSFORD CITY’S home clash with Hampton & Richmond Borough in the FA Trophy First Round replay tonight, has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

The two teams drew 1-1 in the original tie, at the home of the Ryman League Premier side, and the game could now be re-arranged for Wednesday evening.

On offer to the winners will be £5,000 in prize money and an attractive-looking away clash at former Football League side, Hereford United.
