BRANTHAM Athletic will be at home again in the fifth round proper of the FA Vase - if they can overcome four-time winners Whitley Bay - following today’s draw at Wembley.

The winners of the re-arranged fourth round tie, which is now scheduled to take place at Brantham Leisure Centre this Saturday, will entertain either Bitton or Shildon in the last 16 of the competition on Saturday, February 9.

Bitton, who are based near Bristol, are currently eighth in the Toolstation Western League Premier Division, while Shildon sit tenth in the Ebac Northern League Division One - the same league as Whitley Bay play in.

If Hadleigh United defeat AFC Emley in their fourth round proper tie, now scheduled to take place in Yorkshire this Saturday, they will be away to either Ampthill Town or Enfield 1893.

Ampthill occupy eighth place in the Spartan South Midland League Premier Division, while Enfield are seventh in the Essex Senior League.

The winners of Saturday’s ties will receive £2,000, with a purse of £2,500 for the winners of the fifth round proper ties.

Fifth round proper draw: Spennymoor Town or Lordswood v Bemerton Heath Harlequins or Blackfield & Langley, Newport (IW) or Brighouse Town v Borrowash Victoria or Ascot Utd, Ely City or Spalding Utd v Rye Utd or Guernsey, Brantham Athletic or Whitley Bay v Bitton or Shildon, Ampthill Town or Enfield 1893 v AFC Emley or Hadleigh Utd, Rocester or Runcorn Town v Walsall Wood or Hanworth Villa, Larkhall Athletic or Peacehaven & Telscombe v Tunbridge Wells or Dunston UTS, Bodmin Town or Ashington v Gornal Athletic or Wisbech Town.
