BRAINTREE Town manager Alan Devonshire has swooped to sign AFC Wimbledon forward Brendan Kiernan on a month’s loan deal.

The 19-year-old will go straight into the Iron side for the home game with Barrow, in Blue Square Bet Premier tomorrow, having made one start and eight substitute appearances for the Dons this season.

Town boss Devonshire said: Brendan can play wide left and behind the main striker and will start on Saturday.”
