The ‘Cases’ Somerset Rebels hopes of an unprecedented fourth successive Premier League Championship Grand Final came to an end on Sunday afternoon when they were defeated by the Glasgow Tigers 91-89 on aggregate, the Rebels taking the tie into a last heat decider at the Peugeot Ashfield Stadium before they finally lost out to the Tigers, writes Ian Belcher.

Since coming into being in 2000, the ‘Cases’ Somerset Rebels have a pretty good record in Knock Out Cup competitions, with Tuesday’s encounter being their fifth appearance in the Premier League version, winning two of those to add to their 2001 victory in the Conference League equivalent, writes Dave Thompson.
