FOOTBALL: A number of former Ipswich Town stars are back in action on Sunday when a Blues ‘Legends’ XI take on Stowmarket Town at Greens Meadow, Stowmarket (kick-off 3pm).

The game is to raise funds for the Ridgeons League club’s new clubhouse development.

Set to play for Ipswich are John Wark, Russell Osman, Jason Dozzell, Simon Milton, Matt Holland, Chris Kiwomya, Geraint Williams, Alex Mathie, Kevin Horlock and Gavin Johnson.

Gates open at noon with a licensed bar and a barbecue among the afternoon’s additional attractions.

Tickets cost £5 on the day or £4 in advance from the Queens Head, Station Road, Stowmarket.
