IPSWICH Town are hoping they have beaten tonight’s 11pm transfer deadline to bring back Stephen Henderson on loan from West Ham.
The Irish keeper had reportedly been due to go to Blackburn Rovers in a swap deal for Paul Robinson, but that move fell through earlier today.
The deal had to be rushed through before tonight’s 11pm deadline as Football League rules state that clubs cannot take the same player on an ‘emergency’ loan twice in the same season.
Henderson, 24, made 16 appearances during his first spell at Town between October and the start of this month.

No Loans somehow manages to become EIGHT loans in three? months. If it wasn't so depressing and pointless, Henderson turning up yet again as a last resort would actually be quite funny. Are you sure No Loans' rumoured mega-bonus is not actually for getting Offshore Investment FC relegated? After all in just a few weeks he has morphed from a gruff, reasonablty sensible manager with a whiff of credibility into Paul Jewell with a Yorkshire accent.

Why? We need a striker and at least two midfielders. I said at the middle of last season that we would be relegated this season and the change of manager has not altered my opinion. Despite what he said when he arrived at ITFC, MM has gone the same route as PJ, LOANS LOANS LOANS. They never have worked and never will. Evans needs to loosen the purse strings as that is probably the main reason DJ didn't sign. I have supported ITFC since 1957 and in all that time have never seen my team in such a terrible state.
