Ipswich Town remain in the hunt to sign midfielder Tom Adeyemi, with the former Norwich City man set to become a free agent on July 1, following his release from Cardiff City.
Adeyemi impressed on-loan at relegated Rotherham last season, scoring in the Millers’ 1-0 win against Ipswich, and the Blues are keen to land the 25-year-old, box-to-box player on a free transfer.
Rotherham and Adeyemi’s former club, Norwich, are also interested in signing the ex-Birmingham man.
Ipswich released Jonathan Douglas and Giles Coke at the end of the season, whilst Toumani Diagouraga exited Portman Road after his loan spell from Leeds ended and Jonny Williams went back to Crystal Palace.
Town also lost Emyr Huws, Adeyemi’s Cardiff team-mate, and have had a bid for the midfielder accepted.
