Football Rumours: Manchester United winger Nani could leave Old Trafford

MANCHESTER United winger Nani is a January transfer target for Italian giants Juventus and AC Milan according to reports.
Nani’s future has been the source of increased speculation, with the 25-year-old yet to agree a new contract at United.
The Portuguese international’s current contract expires in 2014, but negotiations over an extension have reached a stalemate since the summer.
Zenit St Petersburg allegedly made a move for him in August – but a switch to one of the leading sides in Serie A would be far more appealing than Russia for Nani.
Meanwhile at Old Trafford, the club are interested in re-signing centre-back Ryan Shawcross – but will face competition from Chelsea and Tottenham.
The 25-year-old began his career at Old Trafford before making a permanent switch to Stoke in 2008.
The centre back was rewarded for his consistent displays with a call-up to Roy Hodgson’s England squad for the recent World Cup qualifying double-header against San Marino and Poland.
United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has been short of defenders in recent times, calling upon the services of Michael Carrick, Darren Fletcher and even former striker Dimitar Berbatov at one point.
Elsewhere, Arsenal will watch Atletico Madrid’s £14m-rated striker Adrian Lopez this weekend and are set to make him their No 1 January target.
The Gunners boss knows he must strengthen his attacking options after privately admitting Olivier Giroud and Gervinho are not the answer to his central-striking quandary.
Staying at the Emirates, and Juventus hope to beat Arsenal to the signature of Athletic Bilbao striker Fernando Llorente.
