What? Lure the next Arsene Wenger (I think that was what u guys were calling him on here about 4 months ago)? I think Jim with the experience of Gorman is quite sufficient for a well-run club for at least the next 4 months.
As for ur celebrations, were u so pleased to hear that ur board thought they could "lure" a manager that they have already sacked once out of international management? (Or did they intend him to only manage when Northern Ireland didn't have a game?) Yes, I share ur pleasure with the news that the budgies have sacked a third manager in 2 years. Perhaps the next one might get until Easter to lift u out of the relegation zone. I'm sure that will get Bryan Gunn jumping to take it on even if no one else would be daft enough. I must say he looked like a real inspiration on Sky Sports News.
I see that ur board have realised its cheaper to give the manager a five month contract than go to the expense of sacking him after the first signs of fans unrest in 6 months. I guess they don't think the result against Barnsley was just a flash in the pan and were not resigned to the fact they couldn't possibly attract a manager of Curbishley or Boothroyd's experience and quality.
