I saw the Doncaster match on national TV - very poor. I saw the Sheffield United match at Portman Road live - poor. I saw the Norwich City match on national TV - very poor. I did not see the Bristol City match but, by all accounts, we played alright and yesterday we lose at home to Cardiff City in a match in which we, again, were very poor. It is my belief that we are playing worse and certainly less attractively than last year. It would appear that the players Magilton has added with Marcus Evans money have added nothing to our performances (and results!). I believe the Towns faithful supporters (and I have been one since 1957) deserve better than this. What do our other supporters think?

I agree with most of your points. Town are crap! but I saw the Norwich game and thought they were superb.
I did not say Town were "Crap" only that they did not play well in those games. In the Norwich game you say "they" were superb. Who did you mean? Ipswich or Norwich because Norwich, on that day, were much better than the Town. We still have to face facts - Ipswich are above Norwich in the table and you only get that when you either beat or draw with teams that Norwich have lost to. Let us hope that remains to the end of the season.

Actually plum, if you win or draw against teams Norwich lose to it doesn't automatically mean Town are above Norwich does it? Dope
Laying to one side the ridiculous arguements that ween and his friends make about how one result or other factors such as their supporters delight with their team make them so successful, I will answer your original point, Graham.
Town have been inconsistent as failing to beat all of the bottom six but getting results against Reading, Burnley and Sheffield United show. I didn't feel we were that poor against Sheffield United considering we were missing both Walters and Garvan. If Quinn hadn't stupidly handled then we would have got three points. Yes Doncaster, Cardiff and narridge (which I haven't watched) were poor performances. How Jim can claim not to have made a poor signing beggars belief but we must remember some of those he has brought in (Walters, Counago, Norris, Wright; regardless what fans think of some of the others).
At the end of the day, Jim must be given a proper chance. Just because the club now has money behind it, we should not throw our principles out of the window. The last time we did that saw the beginning of the end for George Burley and administration. Keep running the club with patience and due diligence. That appears to be what Marcus Evans is doing and I for one support that. I would hate to see us in the position of clubs who change their manager every other season or more often. Long term it is generally a recipe for disaster (except for narridge where it seems to have worked and kept them up three seasons running).

Yes, I see what your saying here but lets get back to the point. Ipswich are crap and do you really want to waste your hard sponged benefits watching them? I think the quicker Portman Road is given back to the Council so that they can turn it in to a benefits office superstore the better. Maybe something like Benefits R Us?
This is a message to "We love you Shumi". Lets not get involved in a slanging match with that "clown" from north of the border who is only interested in condemning the Town and not recognising the fact that the Town do occasionlly play good football as is shown by the factthat we are above them in the table. To give credit where credit is due, Norwich played nice football against us and deserved to win but, when you look at the wider picture, the Town are financially secure, have good players, excellent youngsters (which I wish Magilton would play more), a good ground and very good support. Could the same be said of Norwich? Support, yes but I am not sure about the others. Let the "clown" gloat but I know who I would rather support.

Um, I think you've got involved in the slanging match you said you wouldn't get involved in. Doh! Pesky brain playing you up again?
Financially secure..... does that mean that because you won't ever see Evans' Ipswich accounts that everythings rosy Mr Head in the Sand?
Why has a root and branch analysis taken place at Portaloo? To save money. They even tried to rifle grandad's medal winners for the price of a half time cuppa.
