Seems like we have got you boys in the next round if we get past Chesterfield which will be a very tough match for us. Anyway if you want to discuss the game here is our forum http://www.tractor-boys.com/forum/
Good luck for the match against Chesterfield, I am sure you would have an excellent day out should you get to come to Town. Of course whether it is you guys or Chesterfield everyone will be expecting us to win but the beauty of the cup is that the underdog often has their day. If you come and play football then it should be a good game as Jim Magilton always insists on good passing football (the Ipswich way).
I was unaware of the Town forum you posted first and this one is more popular with jealous budgies (narwich city fans) so I will post your forum details on the busier Town site that I use.
Cheers for that mate hopefully we can make it but its gonna be really tough. It would be good for our town and our loyal fans to come and visit a big club with a lot of history and a great ground. Good luck for the rest of the season.

A big club? Last major trophy 1981? Living on former glories!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A great ground? Ha ha, it's obvious you've never been there. Smells like a bin, its also known as Portaloo Road. And you'll be surprised how much inbreeding goes on.

Congratulations on earning a replay. Must be a good chance that you will get through now that you have them back at your place. What date will the replay be?
As for the budgie comments here, you will see that they are jealous of our success regardless of how long ago it was. The most they ever won was the milk cup (also several decades ago) and one game in Europe against Bayern Munich once. OK they won the derby at their place on Sunday but they conviently forget that we are 5 points ahead of them in the league, have regularly competed (and won) in Europe - remaining unbeaten at Portman Road - and have won Division 1 (i.e. the Premiership now), the FA Cup and the UEFA Cup (no not one match, the trophy) as well as supplying the two most successful England managers ever (Sir Alf winning the World Cup of course). It's little wonder they are so jealous they keep coming here!
Oh, and to compare with their milk cup success, we also won the little-known Texaco Cup (apparently beating them on the way - they beat us in their milk cup semi-final). They are jealous of our ground because, despite having nearly the same capacity as us, theirs is older and has no character. It will probably be the biggest in League 1 next season if Leeds get promoted.

Don't believe the lies Mike. It's not their ground, it's the councils.
You want to hope that you get knocked out in the replay as Ipswich is a dump and really not worth a visit, unless you're an immigrant.
Sorry, Mikey. I didn't realise I should have pointed out that Town lease the ground from the council so therefore you would obviously rather not progress to the third round proper of the greatest club cup competition of the world. Perhaps you will have the equally prestigious memory of visiting carrot road in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy or milk cup or something similar one day in the future. They own their ground, so if they haven't sold it for real estate by then it will be a much better trip because of that.

I actually pointed out that Ipswich wasn't worth a visit because it's a dump.
The facts that you rent your ground and are in hock to Evans for millions and are technically his biiaaaatttchh are purely coincidental.
Well, congratulations, Mikey. This must now surely go down as a modern FA Cup epic of similar proportions to when replays went to the third or fourth time and continued until one side won out.
In case anyone reading hasn't heard, I understand the first game was abandoned (at 0-0?) due to fog; the second one ended 2-2 after the Chesterfield manager ordered them to concede an equaliser after they had scored when they were supposed to be returning possession (nice to know the spirit of the game is still alive and kicking some places); now the replay has been abandoned at 2-0 with 20 minutes to go after floodlight failure. I must say when I saw the score I thought Droylsden were out but you live to fight another day.
Actually I lived in Lloyds Avenue, Upper High Street and Ravenswood.
It is a dump you know.
So u have lived in 3 of the most run down areas of Ipswich. What is that supposed to prove? Is carrot road the most run-down part of narridge or is the rest of the place a 60s dump? If Mikey is interested in visiting the Town rather than just experiencing our ground then I am sure he will find it a charming place even if it doesn't have a modern castle and a cathedral. So what?
For a taste of the difference between the two grounds here are some images. (Although, I must admit that since we don't get close to filling our ground our atmosphere is very poor at the moment; mind you, would the budgies sell out for Droylsden? I guess it would be a rare chance to see u win now the derby is over.)
and here is carrot road to compare:
Sorry, no statues to add I'm afraid for some reason.
