PORTSMOUTH have recalled keeper Asmir Begovic from his loan spell with the Blues after David James picked up a calf injury in the warm-up ahead of their game at Stoke yesterday.

The Bosnian international was due to remain with Town until January.

Begovic made six appearances for the Blues in just over a month at the club, taking over from Richard Wright after the former England man had made a number of crucial errors.

  • Just when things seemed to be getting better keeper goes back with wrighty the main man for the first time this season I am worried our defence trusted begovic giving them some confidence I suggest an emergency loan signing of quality sod the expence I fear if not all the good work in recent times will be torn apart sos new keeper and a quality striker contact itfc portman road
